Guild Wars 2

I have 2 characters that have only a head, and 1 character that doesn’t have a torso. these three chars and others in game also don’t have feet, but instead have 1 big white block with 2 sides having a black and white checkerboard. the patch seemed to d/l just fine, albeit kinda slow, so im not sure if that is the issue or not. if so, how do I reinstall the update?
I was going to submit a ticket, with a screenshot, but now I cant even log into the game w/o it crashing HELP!!

My character’s mouth gets frozen wide open now after the patch. Seems there are some funky things going on.

I’m going to run a -repair on my game to see if it helps. I recommend you do the same and see if it helps you.

If you need a hand doing that:

• Close your game/launcher
• Right-click your game shortcut and select ‘Properties’
• On the ‘Shortcut’ tab, the first line says “Target:”, immediately after the end quotation marks in this field, put a space and then add -repair
  It will look like this (but with your installation location):
  “F:\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -repair
• Make sure there is a space between the " and -repair
• Run the shortcut and it’ll repair the game files if any are damaged.
• After the repair is finished, close the launcher, remove the -repair argument you added and run the game as normal to see if it’s fixed.

that fixed it! it took a couple tries, timed out a few times, giving me the ’ol Not Responding message. but eventually it went all the way thru. everything back to normal. thank you!!!

Happy to help! I had the same problem with it not responding and the window flashing and displacing a bit repeatedly. I’m glad it fixed the problem for you! It solved my issue as well.
