So since two days im getting 48 exp for completion. Normally i would get around 800-900+ and the higher level i become the more exp i get. this apply to the boss “spider queen”
I wonder why am i bugged? or something ? I did what i do normally i do all my dps rotation.
And lately im feeling like it takes forever to level up, im currently in kessex hills doing the boss rotation. Spider queen > alch > spider queen > witch > other group events nearby. it seems that other bosses are fine getting the normal exp
hope that some one can shed some light in this. Or should i contact the support ?
Its calles diminshing return .. it kicks in if you do the same events in a small area for
maybe 1 hour.

I hit DR once when farming regular events in the Norn starter area a long time ago when I was leveling my necro. All of a sudden I was getting almost nothing in the way of rewards. Just do a few events on a different map on that char for a while.
Note that since we are not given any details of exactly HOW DR works (for obvious reasons), tossing around info like “it goes away in about an hour”, are in no way guaranteed accurate. I have seen numerous reports that players parking Alts near events and logging in daily to do said events are seeing continual DR on those events for weeks after it first started (not sure WHY they would continue to do those events if they noticed this ??).
As a I recall, the reports were that you needed to zone out and do a few events in another area and then when you load back in to the original zone and do the events again, the DR will be removed. I’m not sure there isn’t some RNG aspect to how DR gets applied and even possibly to reset it (if technically possible, that’s what I would do to keep gold farmers from easily figuring out how to get around it).

I’m guessing it works similar to how “dishonorable” worked in GW1: the more you repeat the same event or kill the same mobs, the faster your returns diminish and the longer it takes before the effect wears off.
I have one character I use to gather in Mount Maelstrom and use for some dungeons, so at times, it will see nothing but the same event for a week or two. It takes doing the event 5-6 times (without any map changes) before I see reduced xp/karma. Each time, if I finishing Inquest Golem or Mega Destroyer events (in the same zone, but different areas), the DR has reset immediately.
In contrast, I knew a guy who was farming sharks and such in southsun for weeks and started to wonder why he was getting mostly junk. It took him a couple of hours of playing that toon outside southsun before he started getting the usual T5-6 scales etc.

I can say from my experience that DR has also changed since the feature-patch.
Before it was really quick after an hour that you get nearly no exp at all, now
it goes down slower so you even don’t notice it at first .. and also it takes longer
that it goes back to normal .. just don’t play for an hour for example doesn’t
fix it now, like it did before.
Also after just doing 2-3 events in another zone i really fast got again less exp
after each event on my old farming-events.

Hmm i think it’s some what fixed now dont know how. but i am getting that DR.
Does any one have an other map to level up? next to kessex hills ? like dynamic events rotation? Any advice would help trying to level up my chracters.
Brisbane wildlands is another 15-25 level area. iirc, the portal to it is at the top NW corner of Kessex hills. Gendarren fields is a 25-35 level area that you can reach through portal in the NE corner of Kessex or through the northernmost portal in Lion’s Arch.
