I have a guild LFG post of less than 5000 characters (obviously), I try to edit the post not by adding more characters but deleting characters, it gave me 5000 characters limit error.

Sometimes there are hidden characters which still add to the limit.

What I do is copy/paste to an editor that counts characters and edit there. I’ve never gone over the limit doing that.
