Guild Wars 2

Wanted to get this out here for people having trouble with this quest, as I could not find anything (except 1 video) related to this.

It basically goes like this: A Light In The Darkness is a level 55 quest (I got it as a Noble Human Warrior / Vigil; not sure if it’s related to personal choices). I did this quest as a level 52, so I died a lot, to the point where I was completely naked, save for undies and weapons, but finally I made it to the end. The last objective is to slay the Gate Keeper or someone like that. Tactic after tactic, I tried and I died. HOWEVER, this one time I had him to about 5% and I was in a downed state. In a fit of rage I activated Vengeance. This skill revives me and I can fight for 15 seconds, the downside is that you are defeated once the duration is over. I did this. I killed him. Then, Vengeance wore off and I died. I revived and nothing really happened. It turns out that once you killed the Gate Keeper you would be ported out of the instance in like 5 or so seconds. This did not happen because I got defeated. Someone said that you could force yourself out of the instance and it would be completed. I walked to the coast and got forced out of the instance. Then I crashed. When I got back in, I was back in the Grove and the quest was reset back at the beginning. I’m posting this as a bug and a reference to anyone stuck at this point, but yeah. That’s the story.
