If I block a player, I cannot see his LFG and I cannot join his party.

On the contrary, if I block a player, that player can see my LFG and can join my party.

When I block players it’s to not interact with them at all and make sure we don’t get in the same party ever again. So this is not working as expected.

hmmmmm
My first reaction is that this is not a bug but intended. If you block a player you block them for yourself. It doesnt restrain the other player at all. On itself it is a good and fair system

The side effect indeed is the LFG-system, making that you end up with someone you dotn want to play with and make matters worse, making you force to leave a party you started cause that one person joined.

This is however very complex and more a side effect then a bug. The best thing to do is if people are doing this on purpose you should report them. If people really start misusing this Anet prolly will take actions against it.

How can it be intended? No: blocking means no more interactions, yet the lfg tool bypasses my explicit wishes, so it’s a bug. No need to find excuses for a behavior that is clearly a bug.

No I disagree with you. Blocking means not no more interactions. You want the person you blocked to be limited in what he can do. That is not up to you. So it is a side effect. But also read my post again. I also say that it is an undesired side effect that, if possible, should be countered. But it is not easy and I don’t see how it can be done without limiting the person being blocked.
