Guild Wars 2

Was up to the guardian at the very end of the quest and I died, but Trehearne was still alive so I didn’t revive and waited for Trehearne to finish off the guardian. After that was done, he came and revived me but nothing took me back to the Grove and I was essentially stuck in there.

Tried to die on purpose to the guards but no good. Had to exit and now I’m repeating the quest.

I’m actually frustrated. Had to waste a lot of money on repairs for essentially nothing.

A dev please respond…

I’ve finished the quest after repeating it, but at the time it said return to the tree spirit or whatever at the Grove, and there was no exit; I could not return. It did not teleport me out after Trehearne finished the Guardian off and revived me.

Really? I watched a video of it and the guy who did it was teleported out immediately after defeating the guardian. Also, there was no quest marking to point me towards the tree if it was in the instance.

I hope you can review this. I am 100% sure it was a bug.

Same problem here, impossible to finish the quest, I had to go out of the map to end the instance :/
The tree is indeed in the map, but there is no way to reach it.

same problem, i cannot get to the pale tree after killing the guardian.

so whats the solution? the dev basically just stated the obvious.. the pale tree is in the instance, yes. the problem is that I can not get to the tree. The games doesn’t teleport me after I’ve killed the guardian.

I dont want to do this quest again

I have the same problem. I dont teleport after killing guardian, but stay in promenade of the gods.

This just happened to my son. My wife and I were helping him with the quest and after the guardian was killed, she and I were teleported but my son (and Trahearne) were left behind.

We hit every point of dialogue listed on the wiki. Nobody had been downed, let alone defeated. The only thing that may have been slightly unusual is that we ended up killing the guardian near the base of the stairs.

My son plays a thief, my wife is a ranger and I am a guardian—not sure if that would have any relevance, but I figure it doesn’t hurt to mention.

The objective was set to “Speak with the Pale Tree”

Sorry if there is a newer post for this one—this was the first one I found in a quick search.

This problem still occurs in game. I’m stuck in the instance at this very moment. I defeated the Guardian, but I can not move forward, and I was not zoned out. I suspect I’m going to be forced to replay this instance.
