I just wanted to report that I am having a hell of a time trying to hit these Graveling Burrows with my sword skills, “Mind Stab” and “Blurred Frenzy.” I can’t seem to find the magic spot to attack these mounds without getting a “Miss” every time. I’ve tried changing positions, standing on the mound in various spots, and I even tried landing my Phantasmal Warden on the Burrow and standing exactly where the Warden is and still Missing all of my attacks while the Warden hits. Very strange.

This is especially frustrating as these mounds are typically “DPS race” encounters and I’ve found that Blurred Frenzy does some decent AoE DPS on the both the mound and the mobs that spawn from it and would really like to contribute more to my party than a ton of “Misses.”

Thanks!

Mesmer

Happens a lot (not just in AC, also the blossoms in TA and “buildings” in general). And not just with mesmers. Happens constantly with engineer flamethrower, elementalist chain lightning, etc.. “Miss”, “Obstructed”, etc., even when there’s clearly nothing in the way.

this needs to be fixed and it needs to be fixed for everything. if you are in range to hit an object, you should hit it. you should never miss and there should never be obstructed errors unless there’s something between you and that object.

graveling burrows are the biggest culprit, but using heartseeker on my thief to break open the gates in legacy in foefire is also a completel kittening nightmare.

please fix this; it’s been a huge problem since beta and it’s never improved. the way players interact with destructible objects needs to be tested, because clearly it never was.

i’m sick of it and it’s just a stressful headache. it makes this game appear extremely poorly developed and AC graveling nonsense (which is the same in all three paths—creativity!) is just artificially difficult when you can’t actually hit things.
