I thought I noticed this the other day but I’ve now confirmed it after the completion of today’s dailies: my AP total is not increasing to reflect achievements earned.

You probably have hit the cap. Check if you have a total of 15,000 AP from daily and (now defunct) monthly. To do so, hover your total AP in Achievements tab of Hero panel.
