Looking at some of the achievements, they offer no reward, i.e. fractals research pages gives me nothing and the same with kitty collector.

I’ve looked at someone elses panel and they get AP’s

Which achievements are you talking about? Fractal research pages are part of the Ad Infinitum collections, they are not achievements themselves.

Do be aware, not all Achievements award Achievement Points.
