Guild Wars 2

I’m currently doing a level 30 fractal with a very well geared lvl 80 necro. The group consists of 3 rangers, a guard and me. All well geared. Minimum AR in group is 30. There are a couple of us who have 30 AR that it’s as if we have 0 AR. We keep getting downed whenever we get hit with agony. Is there a bug? I’ve done 2 level 30 fractals and we’ve both had this same problem. Do we actually need MORE than 30 AR?

there are some places in fractal where u can get like 2 staks of agony like Mossman in swamp fractal.I usually play lvl 48 and with 45 AR with 2 staks on me i get down pretty fast.30AR in lvl 30 is enaugh if u know when to dodge.so maybe this may be the problem.

Lvl30 with 30 AR is like lvl10 with 0 AR, 12% hp per tick. Remember that your healing if halved and (as said above) sometimes you can get multiple agony stacks.

Personally, I don’t recommend going lvl30 with only 30 AR, but if you’re afraid of your AR not working, unequip it and feel the 48% HP drain per second.

Yeah I kinda such at dodging, trying to get better at it and I’m better than I used to be. I can get another 10 AR easily as I have nothing in my accessories atm. My rings and back are double infused and my amulet has the gold infusion. I have the relics, so I’ll just add another 10 AR. HUGE difference between level 28 and 30 I guess…

AR is actually bugged in some cases of you entering at different times, relogging and so on. Go out of combat, remove all your equips and reequip them, solves the issue. Only if you have enough AR to begin with obviously.
