specifically catapults as they have the abiltiy to launch almost straight forward, and have a knockback combined with huge damage, they can be aimed at keep doors from the inside, effectively being able to kill many defenders, rams, and anything else relatively close to the door, all by shooting the door and letting the aoe splash to the other side of the wall.
