Guild Wars 2

Odd accented characters appear between words in much of the game’s text in lieu of spaces. I believe these started appearing a day or so after I started playing. They are quite annoying and I can’t find any way to get rid of them.

Update:
I’ve tracked down the cause of the problem. I had the UI size set to ‘large’. With this setting, the bullets between effects in target window show as ‘?’ (capital E with macron) and the long dashes in mail messages and NPC chat show as ‘?’ (capital A with ogonek).

Edit: Sadly the forum software appears to be unable to reproduce the characters.

I have this same problem and this is the only post I’ve found concerning it. Has anyone come with a solution to fix this problem? Large is the perfect size of interface for me to use for my 1920×1600 display. I can set the interface size to larger and fix the character, but then things are just too big for me.

Seriously someone has to fix this already. Its been like this since launch!!! Large is the perfect size and I don’t wanna swap but the accents are annoying!
