Accessory Bug (watch out )
It’s not a bug, ascended quality items are labeled as “unique” meaning you can have only one of its kind equipped at the same time. It’s very poorly communicated in-game though and I wouldn’t have had any idea about this, had I not seen someone talk about it in map chat some time ago.

they should explain what unique means because ascended gear isn`t cheap and it would be nice to understand how it works .
Did they explain what “main hand” is ?
What you’re describing creates threads every three days. But ppl don’t look here, but continuously complain about the game’s mechanics.
Instead of soulbinding it (by equipping), you could try to equip it first. Then it’s still account bound. But players tend to soulbind it first and then realize that it was a bad decision.
Infuse the accessory (once possible) and it’ll be account bound again.
I believe ‘Unique’ is a worldwide accepted term that the item in question being called that is in fact, a one of a kind, not possible to aquire once more item, of which there is only one in existence…

Unique is universally accepted in most gaming circles… however, I do agree to an extent that the wording doesn’t stand out enough. I only knew the unique keyword was in the game back when the 20 slot bags were still termed as unique.
I do agree with kirbyprime that the wording Unique does’nt stand out enough…make it a distinct flashy color we can’t ignore or put it in CAPS with explamation marks…

Well then you would be mistaken, saying its unique would imply you can only aquire one…. not only equip one, the fact they let you purchase another already breaks the aforementioned unique status you were referring too, and quite frankly, why would everyone check the fourms before doing every little action in the game to ensure nothing is bugged, its responsibility of the game designers to let people know what they mean by certain tags on items, we can only guess at what they mean from one of a million possibilities…

Why should we have to look here prior to purchasing/playing/moving…. like should I check here before leaving Lions Arch to make sure the game wont bug out and crash? Seems like you think that everyone starts the game on these fourms then moves into actual game play after analyzing all the bugs and flaws with the game, not vice versa…..
