My account name jumps between two different names. My original name is Futabot.5780, but as you can see, I am now Pink Porcupine.5461.
I never got an email from support indicating there was a name policy violation. I sent a support ticket, but I suspect this is a bug.

You likely would not receive an email from support about a Display Name change. You contacted the CS Team, and they will respond as soon as your ticket works its way through the queue (based on priority).
If this happened recently, it takes a while for new Display Names to settle in.
