Bounty Hunter – 5 AP (Repeatable)
It will take 3 days to complete this achievement as you can only get 1 Encoded Orders per day (hence 1 contract per day). You cannot progress this achievement the first day since you used the Encoded Orders to unlock the achievement.

I have done this every day since we got it, a total of 5 days, and according to my achievement panel I have only killed one target. Is this achievement possibly bugged?

Did you first acquire the ‘Encoded Order’ by killing a bandit somewhere in Tyria each day? You must turn in the Order to the NPC in Divinity’s Reach to activate the quest each day.

Assuming you did turn it in and got the specific order, make sure that (after killing the target), it was replaced with a trophy. If it was, the game gave you credit for the bounty (otherwise you need to kill the target again).

I had the same problem. I turned in the order, got a bounty, went after the target… and didn’t realize until the next day I hadn’t made any progress. Turned out, for some reason, the game thought I was supposed to go after a different target.

Every day I kill Bandits and get the Encoded Order. I take it to the NPC in Divinity’s Reach. I take the the bounty that he gives me and kill the target that is named.

I finally got credit for my second one but considering I have been killing them for 6 days I am not happy about this. I am wondering how many I have to kill to finally get credit and get the achievement.

I went and killed the other four bandits and got credit for the achievement in a little under an hour. The achievement reward of that scroll that is supposed to grant XP towards mastery, vanished out of my warrior’s inventory though, after logging out and back in.

I am sure I never clicked and used it.

I am sure I never clicked and used it.

The mastery exp item doesn’t appear in your inventory – it is automatically consumed straight away (even if you’re maxed out and the exp is wasted).

This is confusing. I have defeated all five of the champions and some I have defeated multiple times. I have 3 of the four achievements completed. But I have 0 of 3 credits in the bounty hunter achievement. Not sure what I am suppose to do to get credit for the bounty hunter achievement. Can any one explain clearly how it is done?

Bear in mind that it’s an infinite achievement though – once you complete 3 bounties, you’ll get the reward but it’ll go back to 0 out of 3.
