For the last few days i have not been gaining achievement points, although it says i have done the achievement for completing daily, dragon ball and other achievements. It is not adding the points to my achievement score. As its a central part of the game i am worried it may have been going on longer than i realized. Anyone else had this problem?

There’s a cap on how much AP you can get from dailies. You probably just hit that cap.

Sadly not gaining any points to reach a cap. The achievements appears in the recently completed part of my hero panel. But my achievement score is frozen from at least sunday. Altho i have logged on every day and done my daily and other types of achievements it has not risen at all.

Like I said, there is a cap on how much AP you can get from dailies. A lifetime cap. Check your AP to see if you’ve reached it.

OMG, Thanks RoseofGilead your right I had no idear this lifetime cap exsisted. Now I feel like an idiot, just wished arenanet made the achievements that don’t count, show no AP points once capped, thats going to annoy me. Now i just need to permanently remove without a trace the dailies from the top right of the main screen (as i’m never going to do them again) and that will make my OCD happy. Thanks again

Yes. Also there should be various indicators, such as when you mouse-over your AP (you can see your daily and monthly totals, but no mention of a cap). Maybe ANet could show the ‘daily’ and ‘monthly’ numbers in a different color (grey for NA or green for max or… something).

Over the next few months, more and more of us are going to be hitting the AP cap and most of those doing so will be surprised, just as the OP was.
