Just a short list of all current achievement related bugs (for the ap hunters like me)

Chak killer – Master
Not sure what the issue is – dying during the attempt, or the chak going into the walls. Either way I have tried it 4 times now (once without dying at all) and haven’t earned it once. I’m a thief, so maybe stealth plays a role.

Untethered
Not sure what the cause is here, but I’m 100% sure i’ve dodged all the attacks completely, I did not have any summons (thieves guild or anything), completed the instance and no achievement.

Bark Breaker
Currently impossible because of the lack of a mordrem husk with a defiance bar.

WvW – Master of Ruins & Veteran slayer
Both impossible since these aspects have been removed from WvW.

Let me know if I missed other important ones.

For chak killer it has been said that some chak, when low on health, run through the wall and become untouchable. This exaplin the sound of chak you get even after killing every reamining chak on the room. You can pull them before they do this ( I read some peoples got the achiev. that way). Anyway a friend got the achiev while I was doing it with him and I got nothing.

Yes Bark Breaker seems impossible. I never saw any Husk with a break bar when escorting Laranthir

Diarmid Slayer at Mouth of Mordremoth, killed her a few times and still no achievement, some people did get it though.

None of the achievements from story 15 register for me when I enter it. No “qualified” buff appears for any.

Peer Review and my friends the smiths….. also badly bugged. Cant interact with the note just phases out or isnt clickable so unable to start the event for peer review. As for the smiths, the NPC’s dont seem to show up to revive. So much achievement bugs Q-Q

It seems that using a char that already did that instance will do the trick for those two achievements.

So apparently you can do Chak Killer Master only if you actually kill (tag) 50 mobs and don’t die. Dying disqualifies you.

For Untethered (source dulfy), you are not allowed to get hit by mobs either, you have to kill all the mobs and all the walls as well. On both helixes. So better to duo the instance with a friend. Your friend kills it all then you run up safely. You reset the instance then you kill everything for your friend to run up safely once you are done.

Potoni the Massive is a bit buggy cause after you kill it you have to walk down the bridge near the mushroom on the floor under him for the achie to trigger. You have to cross that bridge near the jumping mushroom for it to get triggered.

Crystallized Cache Seeker also has some issues. Most of them don’t count. I believe the only one that counted for me was one near the Nuhoch town.

I was able to get the untethered achievement after three tries:
1.) Did both sides of Helix before jumping up to the next platform
2.) I was hit by mobs, so that’s not the issue.
3.) I did not get hit by vines
4.) Didn’t die
Also, the achievement was earned after I jumped up to Faolin, and I soloed with my Necro.
