I just reached the 4000 point achievement reward. I got it in the middle of a meta event, and was waiting to open it until I could log on with the character I want the reward for.

After I logged off and logged back on with the correct character, I saw there was an achievement chest deposited into my inventory, but I never got to select a Zenith weapon skin. What the hell?

Is there any way I can go back and select my reward? Or can Anet just send me the skin I wanted?

Try the following:

  • In the [h]ero window/gear panel, change to the wardrobe subpanel and type ‘zenith’ in the search field. Count how many are unlocked — should be three for the 4k reward.
  • Cycle through all your characters to see if there’s a zenith skin somewhere. Check your bank, too.

Best case: you did unlock the sword somehow and you’re done; it’s a free transmute whenever you like.

Annoying case: you only have two skins unlocked, no skin in inventory of any character. In that case, you need to start a support ticket and ask customer service to (a) investigate the issue and (b) (please) find a way to provide you the sword skin.

Worst case: you have three skins unlocked, but not the sword (and the newest skin is, indeed, hanging around in inventory somewhere). Same method to fix, though: contact support.
