Instead of explaining this again, i’ll just copy/paste the mail I sent to ANet since they told me to post it in the forums… and hope this does something:
“Hello Arena Net,
I almost completed the achievement “Active Guild Member”. To complete it, I have to earn 10,000 influence points. And I have earned 9,773…
I’m aware that you can convert your old Inf. points into Favor, but I don’t have anymore influence to convert, therefore I can’t complete it.
My problem is that I have this achievement is permanently stuck on my “Nearly Completed” list of events and guess what? I will never be able to complete it. And now this is just clogging my achievement panel. It’s a minor nuisance but…
What I kindly wanted to ask you, is if it’s possible to either retire this achievement so it disappears from the list, or (I know this may be asking too much) give me an item that allows me to finally complete it, so it disappears (as I said, I earned VERY CLOSE to 10,000 inf. points, so I think sending me 227 inf. points would be… fair? Those additional +10 achievement points are important to me).
Other suggestion would be if, in a future patch, you could give players in the same situation like mine, a way of getting rid of this “buggy” thing, like you did in the latest spring patch with that NPC that got rid of the Personal Story bug, if I recall correctly.
