We are at the big toad and he no longer drops crystal shards, also its impossible to attack him or his amulet, is this a bug or is it working as intended? He is at roughly 33% life.

Same problem, but toad at last hit

My group have had to quit the zone after puzzling for an hour over this issue. The amulet has 0 hp, and so we cannot hit it for more shards, and so we cannot stun an therefore kill the toad king. Either we have missed a big trick, it is supposed to be only possible within the first 10 minutes of trying, or it is bugged, please let us know which is true.

Its happening to mine now as well. Stopped producing shards at about 80% health.

Are you maybe DPS’ing the amulet too much?
You only need 1 shard for each attack round and then stop dps until he’s stunned.

Yes we are DPS’ing the amulet too much, but the issue is there is no way of knowing not to do that on your first attempt, and no way to complete the mission if you do.

Indeed. Maybe they could simply make it regenerate to full after every tongue lashing?
