During the final bossfight of Aetherblade Retreat I disconnected and was thrown out of the instance. However I managed to reconnect and re enter instance in time to receive the bonus chest award. I couldn’t get to the boss chest because of the barrier which prevents players from entering the room if they don’t talk to the lionguard npc. There is also no flag to interact with on other bosses to enter the room. I don’t think this would be intentional otherwise I wouldn’t have put it in bug reports.

i also had this issue. d/ced towards the end of the fight, but by the time i got inside again the boss was dead. got credit for the kill, but i can’t get past this effin’ final barrier. such irritating design as to not add a WP at the end or make the final barriers disabled after encounter finishes.

Yes, a team made of mine had this happen to him. He ended up on the other side of the barriers, with no way to get back inside and get his reward.
