Hidden chests of the same instance can be opened with each of my characters.
Is this intended as an Aetherkey sink? Those chests can only be opened with Completed Aetherkeys.

An official answer please, I’d like to utilize this, if it’s not an exploit.

Well, in that case, it is best to be safe rather than sorry, I suppose. Would extra rewards be worth losing your account over if it is determined to be an exploit? Let your conscience be your guide. =)
