Against the Corruption Airlift bug
Go to where the quest marker says to go. The wiki entries on Personal Story are still being reworked because of the recent changes to Personal Story. So, if you’re following the wiki for what to do, I’d hold off on that for a while and just follow the in-game directions. When I did Against The Corruption on a character a couple of days ago, it didn’t tell me to go to the airship dock; it just told me to meet Trahearne at the location in Cursed Shore.
The in-game quest text says to go to the airfield, but the marker is somewhere in the middle of orr.
Have you tried going to the marker?
Have you tried going to the marker?
No, that would require some pretty crazy running to get all the way from fort trinity through most of orr. I figure that’s why the quest is supposed to fly you there.
It used to fly you out there when the story progression was changed because the Against The Corruption quest (a level 80 quest normally) was placed in the level 70 chapter. Now, however, it’s changed back.
Could you post a screenshot of your UI, by any chance? I ask because I wasn’t directed to go to the airship dock for that mission a couple of days ago and was wondering what yours looks like compared to mine.

… and the minimap in the first picture shows that it is pointing to a completely different direction.
I’d bug report the UI telling you to go to the airship dock, for sure. But the quest marker is pointing you in the correct direction. You’re level 80 and can easily run to the location for it. You’re going to have to run to all of the story locations now, anyway.
There’s an issue with the personal story in Orr due to correcting the proper sequence of the events between Chapters 7 and 8, but the text and levels haven’t changed to reflect it.
It’ll get fixed, eventually and once they work it out.
- The more asinine the post or thread, the more I am amused.
