I have used the agony extraxction device to remove a +5 from my back pack not only did it remove the +5 it has also removed the slot is this right? it does not warn you this is going to happen

As far as I know, that shouldn’t happen. Could you post a screenshot of the item with its stats and info showing?

The back pack I’ve had for ages and I know these backpacks don’t have the option of an Agony slot now, but it has had a +5 AR bought from the dessa’s lab

There’s only one infusion slot on those crafted back items. You didn’t lose anything. You can just reapply the Versatile Simple Infusion as normal.

Your slot’s still there as far as I can see – there’s an empty defensive infusion slot. A +5 bought in dessa’s lab should work with that.

You can only put those in specifically designated Agony Infusion Slots. Your current backpack can only take either defensive or omni infusion (like the Versatile Simple Infusion you used to have in it).
