What is the deal with this amulet? A level 80 exotic with such poor stats is so pointless I have to assume it’s a bug or oversight of some kind.

Several of the world bosses as well as the all the temples have a chance of dropping similar items. They also drop an exotic version which has the stats you would expect for lv80 exotics.

That is the exotic version. A guildie got one while we cleared Lyssa and it’s a level 80 exotic with horribly low stats.
Edit: In fact, looking at the trading post they’re all like that.

It used to have magic find, right? Must be a bug when the stats were reset.

Oh missed that. It’s probably like the rest of the assassin items. The +power is missing from the tooltip. I’ve only checked the opals but they should still give the appropriate +power.

Even if it is missing the tooltip for the power stat, in assassin stats the power is a minor trait. So here we have an exotic lvl80 amulet with what? The equivalent of 30 total stat points? I can get a lvl 20 masterwork amulet with more stats.
