Guild Wars 2

Logged into game, got a guild gather buff. Ported to Malchor’s Leap with 5 mining nodes showing on mini map.

Mined the first node and all other nodes disappeared from map and are not there, thought this strange and maybe it was a bug with area.

Ported to Cursed Shore and same thing happened.

Logged out of game and back in but no mining nodes, log and herb are fine. Just waiting for buff to run out to see if it’s the buff cauing it.

This has happened to me twice as well on Southsun Cove. Last night I was using a guild buff and it happened on harvesting Passiflora nodes; but Mithril stayed on the map with no issues.

This afternoon I had no guild buff on. I went to log a tree and all remaining nodes disappeared and no other resource nodes appeared on the map.

Very frustrating.

Same thing here is happening to me over the last couple of days. I can add that it is account based, because the mithril disappears from all characters on the account when the bug occurs. The mithril does not respawn for several hours (6++) and I have no idea what triggers the respawn. It seems to be fairly widespread. My mining route includes cursed shore and malchor’s leap. All mithril nodes disappear from cursed shore and about half of malchor’s leap when I encounter the bug in cursed shore. The same nodes are gone from all my characters. I have tried relogging, no solution.
I can verify this hasn’t anything to do with guild gathering buff, because I didn’t have gathering buff active the few times this has happened to me. It only seems to affect mithril nodes. I have never noticed the trees, plants, or orichalcum disappear because of this even though I gather all in my path during my route.

Same thing happened to me on my elementalist in southsun cove. I had no gathering buff whatsoever. I mined one of many mithril nodes on the map and then they all vanished. This also happened to me in cursed shore once. They never respawned until the server reset. I’ll keep my eye on the southsun ones to see if they ever come back.

This happened to me too many times. I’m starting to suspect it’s the DR decided that I mined too much > .> However, it’s not like I mined 3 hrs straight for many stacks of mithril ores. Most of the time it happens before I get one full stack of mithril.

This happened to me today, i did farm ore/logs a little more than usual but not more then couple hours at once ore nodes disappear, logs/herbs stay on map, it is also account based as same on my alt

I encountered the same problem today in both Frostgorge Sound and Malchor’s Leap while mining.
In both instances, I had 3 mithril nodes within view (Yes, I could see the text as well as the minimap icons). After mining one of three nodes, the other 2 disappeared.
This happened at both locations.

So, can we get any word on this from any of the ArenaNet people? Is this a bug or some stealth mechanic working as intended?

I"ll be glad to work with you guys as much as I can to aid in the resolution process if this is a bug.
