Guild Wars 2

Whenever I alt-tab in game my computer logs out. When I log back in to the game and get to the character select screen, my toon is facing the opposite direction and the clouds move really slow. If I try to play, the game crashes. The only fix I’ve found is to delete the GW2.dat, which takes a long time.

Are you running in full screen? If so, try to running it Windowed and see if the issue still occurs. Oh and could tell what OS? Also, the GW2.dat is where all the game files are in, deleting it mean you are trashing out the whole game. I would advice you to try a repair instead deleting that file. I alt-tab all the time without any issues. For me the game runs better in “Windowed Full Screen” mode (and it’s faster to alt-tab). Other people have reported different results, depending on the GPU, CPU, and native settings.
