Have anyone ever encountered this moment ? You are playing GW2 happily, and suddenly use press on skills, it doesn’t work ! The enemy attacking the same attack over and over ! You’re downed ! and they keep at it .. and you’re dead .. I looked in forums to see this issue, but what I found were cases of lags and crashes. I have experienced this a lot and the game, no matter how much I love it, becomes unplayable. This issue doesn’t happen with any other game, just this one . Checked for network test , for honesty, not mine, but someone with similar issue, and it was because of the GW2 servers delayed response.
I love this game .. and I want to buy HoT, but these issue stop me .. So please fix it.
I would be glad to see someone cast a solution, other than what is written in forum and support that is.

Collect some data about where the problem is occurring. Forum-regular, SlippyCheeze, phrased this much better than I could

It’s possible that the problem is anet, …but the bad news is: nothing fundamental changed in their architecture in the last patch or anything like that. Traffic profile is still pretty much the same, suggesting that there is maybe some intermediate point between you (and your two ISPs) and anet that causes the trouble.

https://www.pingplotter.com/fix-your-network has a good guide for identifying where the problem is, but if you have trouble with that feel free to post screenshots from it and we can help work out where it is.

Unfortunately, the Internet is built in a way that three to five companies handle your traffic, if not more, just inside the continental USA. There are lots of places that the problem could spring from that neither end is responsible directly for.

Or tl;dr

  • Visit https://www.pingplotter.com/fix-your-network
  • Submit your results via the in-game /bug reporting tool or via a support ticket.
  • Also post here if you’re having trouble using the tool or making sense of what you see.
