While running/moving around this gap produces a constant stress to my eyes.
Moving the map in the upper right corner does not work for me, because I need the empty room there.

I also have that gap since the patch and my attention keeps getting pulled there.

There are lots of glithech after patch in UI and loading screen I hope its not intended because its pretty ugly

this gap is because of the UI change for the XP bar.

they remade it and added a new one with XP blocks instead of a smooth single line bar that increases as you get xp.

most likely its to get ready for HoT and the mastery XP bar we will be using.

No distracting flashing in peripheral sight is the basics of ergonomics. And that gap does exactly this: flashes with random stuff like high-contrast terrain, random characters and so on.

Yes noticed this last night – it’s noticable precisely because it’s so very distracting Drove me mad after about 5 minutes and had to keep telling myself not to glance down towards the map. It’s there underneath the chatbox on the left as well.
