It started with April’s Feature Patch. Every time you hovers a dialog box (like deleting confirmation), a notify popup at right (like new skin unlocked) or simply when a screenshoot is taken an annoying glow shows up on mini-map. It’s exactly the same glow that appears when hovering Personal Story tracker at top rigth and it even glows where Personal Story icon is on mini-map.

Simply check each new screenshot posted in the forum after the Feature Patch, the most of (or all) them shows the glow on mini-map.

Seen it, got annoyed every time, screenshotted, but decided not to report anything as all my bug reports did was wasting my time.

Yeah I can understand that feeling, but I still have hopes :P In fact, it feels like some old code was brought back up with feature patch… I see several old bugs returning too.

Hehe. Well without hopes things would get easily forgotten and people would get accommodated to stuff.

The workaround is to finish your personal story …

Yes but what about my lowbie alts or others just getting started in the game? Yeah, it seems this is one of those at very bottom on fixes list (if it’s really there though).

Let’s be fair and give the due credits, this bug seems to be fixed now with September 2014 Feature Patch.
