Guild Wars 2

Up to yesterday I saw anomalies all over. I like screenshotting them, so I have documentation of it. Then I did the Rifts (got stabilizer 2 and went to a number of its locations, even) and then I found out about the need to hug an anomaly to open the achieve.

In hours of play since then, searching for them, going around mining bloodstone and collecting unbound magic, doing rifts on another alt, doing a PS instance (I’ve seen them in those), anything I could think of to trigger them, not one has shown up that wasn’t a transformed player (which did not trigger the achieve, either hugging them or shooting them).

It could just be now I’m actively looking I’m realizing how few and far between they are, but really, shouldn’t one have spawned by now?

I have heard them, actually, like just now in the LA BLTC there was the crackle, but I could not see the anomaly.

I never saw a single one until two days before Tuesday’s patch. I saw two in those two days before the patch. Haven’t seen any since then. So, I don’t know if it is a bug, or if it is indeed just a really low chance to spawn.

I think it may be RNG, as I would have a week of rarely seeing them, then a couple of days of seeing them a lot, etc.

I’ve not seen one since being ‘cured’, but I have no idea if that is because of a bug, the consequence of being ‘cured’ or just RNG. I am, however, still ‘screaming’.

One finally did show up, and was a very large one at that. So it was RNG.

I wasn’t seeing dozens an hour before, but I did see enough not to be surprised by them. Anyway, I’ll go with not a bug after all. Thanks for replies!
