So the Another Goo Puddle achievement for the new Nightmare fractal is an achievement which you get once you get squashed by the last boss of the fractal when you stand bellow him when he appears. Problem is, most of the times at that point (as a guardian) you have your Virtue of Courage / Shield of Courage aegis back, which actually lets you block this ‘attack’. As this aegis is not removable (no other enemies in sight) this makes the achievement unobtainable for guardians. A suggestion is make this squashing attack unblockable, which would remove this inconvenience.

+1 to the tweaking of this mechanic.

Just work around it for now by taking a different profession.

This is still a problem.

Can’t you pop your F3 first, which allows virtue of courage to expire? Or grab it on another toon, swap back, and wipe the party (so you can restart with 5 people after).

Of course there should be a way to get the achievement without the workaround (although not sure if this counts as a ‘bug’ or just… an inconvenient programming oversight). Regardless, it seems unlikely that ANet can fix it anytime soon: even if they started investigating on Monday and solved it quickly, it would be a 3-8 weeks before we’d see the change. If it’s not a priority, it will take longer still.
