Using the water bucket on Stinky Cows at Charridis Estates does nothing.

Where exactly are you standing? Keep in mind that the “splash” is in front of your character, and facing matters. (Facing away from the cow, even if you’re right next to it, won’t count.)

My character would be facing towards the cow. Not away from it.

The bucket seems to work as a very small and short cone right front of you, and it doesn’t seem to match the water pouring visuals.

As I see it, the bucket could use an AoE circle so you can see better where you hit. Maybe with a water field, so it can be used in actual combat and all.

It worked fine for me last week, even from the side of the cow. Tried again today: now I can’t seem to get them to react at all. Tried all distances and angles, as did my guildies, and this is what we found: male sylvari, male human, and male norn can’t make it work. Female sylvari and female charr can, but not always, it required maneuvering and luck.

Many of these “splash water on stuff” hearts seem to have issues. There’s that one moot in Timberline I can’t recall every working, where you need to wake up passed-out drunks. Same in Bloodtide witht he Penzan pirates. Also hearts or events in Lornar’s Pass, Wayfarer Foothills, Caledon Forest and Kessex Hills which require waking up drunks or putting out fires periodically break or are just otherwise really hard to get to react.

For reference, our server is Jade Quarry.

ETA; while we were testing, other people could wash them without any trouble. We recall at least a female sylvari and a female human.
