One particular Apprentice Coat (level 15) cannot be salvaged using a Basic Salvage Kit. The coat is of basic rarity. I haven’t tried other salvage kits though. Other Apprentice Coats work perfectly.

Update: Apprentice Coat level 10 cannot be salvaged as well.

I think it’s the same model as the ones available from merchants. It’s probably made this way to avoid “gathering” mats from them.
