Set a man on fire, and he’ll be warm the rest of his life.

My female Norn Guardian seems to have stumbled upon a preview of next year’s April Fools Day joke… the mini weapon set!
When I open my Hero Panel (or any preview window), my weapon and shield are TINY until I make a change of some sort. This has been happening for several days now. (I haven’t really noticed yet whether or not it’s happening on any of my other races/sexes/professions).
On the bright side, at least I can see my feet now.
At last, an efficient way to size weapons for an Asura

Sure thing! Just mail me the items you want resized, and I’ll fix you right up!
Has anyone admitted to an April Fool’s Day joke yet? Surely I’m not the only person experiencing this bug? Here’s my Male Asura Engineer sporting a weapon and backpack that are too BIG at first until I click something else. (Notice the tip of the rifle disappearing into the ground?) This has got to be related to the missing feet/resized character repairs.

I tried it. No issues, no size-changing of weapons. /shrug

It’s weird. It happens almost every time with my Guardian. After I noticed it on my Engineer as well, it took awhile for it to happen again so I could get the screen shots.
That’s partly why I included Race/Sex/Profession information. The “feet are missing” issue was inconsistent between my various Asura of different sexes and professions. Some had feet showing, others didn’t. This seems to be happening with the same inconsistency.
Were you able to play around with a Female Norn Guardian? (You know what I mean… pervert!)
Here’s my Female Asura Mesmer with normal greatsword, and glitched greatsword that digs its way underground.
…and my Male Asura Thief wearing his winter gear and sporting a pair of Royal Ascalonian Daggers. Daggers, I say… not swords!
I don’t appreciate being called a pervert. Perhaps, a -repair of the client would help you.
Good luck.

Sorry. I said that with a winky-smiley in my head. Guess I should’ve put it into my text as well, so you’d know for sure I was making a funny. Here’s the one I owe you:
