This is a huge problem for the underwater fractal (which i know people avoid like the plague) since the jelly fish beast has a move where he eats you and applies agony.

It is not just a bug with the UI since the agony applied in the 42 scale instantly kills you (not just down) if you get eaten.

This applies specifically to the Dolphin path. My agony resistance went from 106 to 0 when I transformed into a dolphin and then when I came out of dolphin form at the boss, my agony resistance was still 0.

It is not only the dolphin path, same thing happend on Dark path. At the boss you had 0 ar

It is not just a bug with the UI since the agony applied in the 42 scale instantly kills you (not just down) if you get eaten.

Since only the boss in that fractal applies agony, I wonder if swapping gear (and back) fixes the AR issue.

The game has traditionally had a lot of edge-case issues relating to leaving a transformation, affecting stacking — e.g. of mantras, bloodlust, … — or boosts or other sorts of things.

Of course ANet should address this (and, I would hope after all this time, include some post-transform sanity checks in their regression testing). In the meantime, however, I’m hoping there are some simple work-arounds.

My necromancer ran into this bug a couple nights ago on Fractal 61 Aquatic Ruins (Dark Path). He currently has 115 AR underwater (136 on land). All the AR infusions are the new +7 purchased from the new vendor along with crafted +10/+11 infusions. I did not have a consumable agony infusion. The trinkets alone have 94 AR, more than enough, so it wasn’t armor damage (armor wasn’t broken anyways). I was the second to last party member alive, the boss was almost dead (less than 20%), when I got hit with 19k agony damage in a one shot immediate death that bypassed downed state. While dead, I pointed out to the party that my UI showed zero AR, and they suggested this was because we were dead (it was not). The last player died and after we revived I bailed, the party wanted to continue, and "just use ranged attacks", but I’ve already completed 61 for the achievement. I don’t recall having a problem before, so I don’t know if this bug was just introduced, or what. My necromancer hopes they physically beat and torture the developer(s) who broke this fractal---there’s just not enough developer abuse these days, and all these bugs are a clear sign that more whippings and mutilations are needed.

Eaten → 0 AR → instant dead
(no matter if u fix ur AR after, each time you get eaten your AR get back to 0 and your instant dead)
