Guild Wars 2

I don’t know if there is a large group of people having this issue, but it seems only on path 3 Giganticus will reset several times, regardless of the number of party members in the room. I’ve done path 1 and 2 (waiting to do 4 until it’s fixed) and never experienced any problems. He has even reset while all 5 of us were there and attacking him, none of us invisible or anything of the sort. I think the record for number of resets during 1 run (no full party wipes) was 6. It is very frustrating, and if the group is unwilling to keep trying again it makes the dungeon impossible to complete.

I saw some posts about this, but they were dated at months ago.

I know there as been many posts about this boss, but I encountered some bugs that aren’t the usual ones.

First off one of our party members went into the downstate fairly close to him in phase 2, and the boss then did his teleport ability to the downed party member, this caused Giganticus to reset and go back to phase 1.

Also we had wiped once with Giganticus with 2 stacked of empowered on him. Low and behold when we went for another go, Phase 1 he started off with 2 stacks right off the bad, so he had inherited the 2 stacks of empowered from the last fight.

Also i know there was a patch updating the fact that if you leave the party you get kicked out, well this time one person had left the party (who was not the party leader) and it had kicked all of us out of the dungeon, during a boss fight.

If he was close to the wall he will reset.. Try once when you don’t have agroo go near wall and you will see you will go off combat so in this case you can easily reset him.
For the 2nd i don’t know… never had such a bug.. tbh never even heard of it. Are you sure he didn’t enter 1st?

Um the second one happens when you don’t reset it properly. Try running a little further next time.
