I thought there would be a thread about this already but I have to yet find one. Anyway, the scepter 1 ability Arc Lightning for elementalist while in air attunement almost never stops showing the animation of the lightning even after the target dies. Usually I stop it by doing a quick /dance. This isn’t a huge bug but it can be annoying in pvp because the giant nonstop lightning beam is like a giant indicator showing exactly where the ele is. I think the direction that the ele is facing while at the end of the channeled ability may have some influence as to whether or not the animation gets stuck, but I’m not certain.

There is a sticky thread with this bug reported in the elementalist thread. This has been a bug since beta.

It will take them 150 days to fix a tiny code statement. =)

Really would LOVE a fix for this. I’m playing ele now, and well that’s one of my main attunements. But the stuck on glitch is very irritating to deal with.

This annoys me as well. I have a habit of attacking indiscriminates (white critters) as I pass them to rack up kills for the weapon master achievements. When I pop a sparkfly with scepter 1, I drag a chain of light for 100 yards and my characters twists around into a position that looks most uncomfortable.
