No way Maguuma Lillys are meant to be sooooooo rare.
I have foraged maybe over 200 Jungle Plants and zero Lilly so far.
Are Maguuma Lilly's broke?

They do drop – I got two or three last week in Verdant Brink. But they are extremely rare. Excessively so, I would think.

They are almost 9 gold each. Need just 10, but spending 90 gold just to make a couple exotic rings for my engineer seems a bit too much. Oh well.
I dont think Anet realizes how rare they made them. All the other similar gemstones are not as rare.

Freshwater Pearls are also hard to get.
Personally, I want more Maguuma Lillies to make more flowers for the guild hall, but I’m not going to buy them at those prices.

As much as both the Lilies and the Freshwater Pearls have been complained about, and given their TP prices, ANET can not possibly be unaware of how rare they are.
Hmm 147g worth of lilies sold … but not enough to make a full set of armor.
One problem with relying on price is that Freshwater Pearls are also useful(profitable) for leveling scribe at certain levels.
As for lilies the biggest demand for them probably comes from WvW players but WvW is probably not generating much if any lilies. I got most of mine while getting noxious pods in Dragon’s Stand. The other problem with lilies is that the main product of gathering from jungle plants is basically worthless so there is very little motivation for people to gather from them.
