I apologize to ANet since I know that there is a merged guild system thread, but that was originally created for a different guild issue, and it has not received any Dev replies in at least two to three weeks.
My friends’ guild which I joined about a week ago is United Sanctuary on Ehmry Bay. Unfortunately it has a bug which is afflicting many guilds where the leader is not able to change permissions or use any influence, so we have been unable to perform any guild activities besides inviting members.
It seems like making a new guild can easily solve the problem, but we are quite attached to the guild they already made, which has accumulated 4500+ influence we cannot use.
I understand that ANet cannot confirm exactly when this issue will be fixed, since it is a big issue, but would it be possible to ask whether it is at least being worked on? The merged thread has been silent on this. Some acknowledgement that it is being worked on would go a long way towards making it easier to wait for, since I trust you to do your best if it is a project in progress.
