As the title implies, I am intrigued if the speed at which the risen run is the intended one. They all seem related to Usain Bolt running the 100m sprint. You can’t run away from them as the catch you in a split second. They are zombies, yet they move with the grace of a gazelle.
Remember those old movies with car races that were fast-forwarded, to create the “illusion” of speed? These guys move the same way.
In my opinion, they all should be crippled, not just the brutes, all of them.

Yeah, fast zombies are kinda popular lately but I honestly kind of prefer slow ones for fantasy games like this unless it looks like its supposed to be fast.

I don’t seem to have any problem with risen but at the same time the animation does look kind of comical. Maybe they could adjust the animation too..

They could just increase its other stats to make up for it but at the same time it makes kiting a bit unfair.. Either way aesthetically I prefer slow zombies in rpg as well for the most part just so theres variety.

Either way its rather funny if you look at them run so I’m not sure they will fix it, too busy laughing.

Too bad there isn’t any corridor full of doors to run trough, Scooby-Doo like. =))

I dont know if its just me, but it feels to me as if the risen runs faster than any other mobs in game.
All other mobs I can run away from, but risen seem to catch up with me no matter how fast I run.

I’ve noticed this lately as well, the Risen move super fast in my personal storyline! I’m curious to know if this is intended… it’s actually kind of funny.

Its freakin creepy. I am always screaming “KILL IT. KILL IT” When they run at me. My friends on mumble make fun of me. You try to not get freaked out after have a Zombie Dream while taking Chantix.

Risen Farmers.. runs like mad and smacks you down with their shovels, annoying.

These ain’t your grandma’s zombies! No brain-eating rotten infected masses of shambling flesh here, these are the footsoldiers of a power so ancient and terrible it can raise mountains from the sea with it’s mind.

Old-school zombies a-la Walking Dead make great stories, film, and single player RPGs. An MMO where the main group of enemies shuffle toward you in slo-mo while you pop each one in the head with your shotgun or baseball bat would get boring pretty fast though.

Agreed, they should ATLEAST run as fast as players do when not in combat. Currently they seemingly run at TWICE that speed. Jeez.
