I’m not getting any area completion chests or in game mail acknowledging the completion.

I was a POI short in Gendarran Fields (Second Aetherblade Site) – but when I collected it I didn’t get any reward.

Then I got a last Vista in Plains of Ashford (Langmar Estate) and that didn’t give me any reward either.

Are those new spots? Did I get completion rewards for those areas earlier? (I haven’t played in almost a year so I wouldn’t remember)

Or is something else going wrong?

chances are you completed those areas once before and since then they have added several new pois and wps to different areas meaning that you dont have them complete (they’ll be like 98% or so) but you don’t get the reward when you 100% them again.

This is accurate, but doesn’t address the vista in plains of ashford mentioned. That vista was not added or altered in any way since release.

Maybe OP meant the new waypoint added in Plains of Ashford. I’m not sure.
