That new npc in PVP mists is Awesome. BUT,there is 1 big BUT

They don’t have infusion slot. ok I dont care about agony infusion but its PVP related item (I guess) and WVW is part of pvp right ? Can you add Infusion slot for Wvw even ?

Oh and it doesn’t progress Grand Aristan(Ascended Accourtement) achievment. unlocking all type of ascended parts.

Hope these 2 are bugs and will be fixed. other way I want to ask for refund, or i have to salvage them.

+1 it should have infusion slots.

The Ascended Armor collection is for unlocking the Illustrious Armor skins though. These PvP armors are not the Illustrious set, so do not count unless you can change the stats on them, it should output the illustrious variant from the forge, which should give the missing infusion slot too. (Not tested this, but if they can’t be stat changed there’s another bug)

Agree, After changing stats in MF it have to output Illustrious ones. why should I craft second boots/chest or whatever for achievment progress ? ofc i will craft but in that case i dont need pvp ones.

I would think the new armor would be pointless without the infusion slot. Like others, I’d like it for the WvW infusion, idgaf about agony infusions.

I have yet to see ANet comment on this so I’m starting to think its as intended which makes a bit sad. I was going to grind for this armor for my main WvW toon but it would be pointless without that infusion slot.

I will log and try to change stats on it with MF. Maybe it will output simple illustrios part. will inform you about it.

Edit: MF doesn’t even see that item. so once you chose stats, you cant change it anymore
