Guild Wars 2

Have Errol’s Armor with Magic Find that needs new stat’s to be chosen. Assassin is not available on the list. Which I believe it should be. My Explorer’s Short Bow was able to be.

Guessing this was an oversight? Hoping it’s added soon….

I think it’s an oversight, since the new Dire is on the list.
Was also looking forwards to trying out those stats – though number-crunchers on Reddit have established that there’s few times you’d pick Assassin’s over Berserker’s (not saying that it’s bad, just that zerker’s is optimal).
So if Assassin’s isn’t put on the list, I’ll just switch it to a zerker set.

I also had a set of Yakkington’s on my heavy and again, Dire is listed and not Assassin. Troubling to say the least. Since these are not Explorer’s or Traveler’s by name.

I have a similar issue on my draconic heavy armor set, I can change it to assassin but not to dire I really want to change it to dire stats, I hope this is a bug…

Dear God, it looks like they split any item with Magic Find into two categories, Explorer’s and Traveler’s. Then locked Assassin’s OR Dire into each set. Instead of doing things the easy way and giving us the option to chose whatever stat combo we’d like now.

…..What possible reason could there be to gate in such a fashion????…..
Please open up the options Anet?

Wayfarer items only have a few options:
Berserker
Carrion
Cleric
Dire
Rampager
Shaman

Yet the explorer armor and weapons that had MF got the options of:
Apothecary
Asassin
Berserker
Carrion
Cleric
Knight
Rampager
Valkyrie

Old wayfarer items are missing apothecary, assassin, knight, and valkyrie stat options

Old explorer items don’t have the option of shaman and dire stats.
