World Event: Assault on Ascalon Settlement
Server: Fissure of Woe
Location: Guardian’s Pass (next to the Stoneguard Gate Waypoint)

The world event, “Assault on Ascalon Settlement”, is incompletable because the NPC which you are supposed to return the catapult parts too is missing. I don’t know exactly how long the events been running for, but it must be at least an hour or two now.

Sorry that the picture might be a little unclear, but I couldn’t get a much better angle without being attacked by the centaurs.

still no fix…

I was just doing this event and couldn’t find where to hand the items in… this explains it, I guess :/

Still broken on Maguuma at the moment.

Still bugged. There’s no NPC to turn in the catapult parts.

Bug still not fixed been running around for about an hour tryng to find the NPC but nope not there.

It’s bugged exactly the same on Piken Square too

Still bugged, it’s running at least since yesterday.

Also stuck right now on server Riverside.

Happening just as original poster described. No NPC for turnin, been like this for ages!

It’s 29.09.2012 15:59 … still no fix.

I hit this yesterday on Yak’s Bend. Wasted 20 minutes gathering parts, only to discover that the NPC is missing.

Yeah. Thankfully the other parts of the event chain leading up to the settlement being attacked still work (since they run in paralell with eachother kind of).

Also an issue on Tarnished Coast!

It’s the same on Far Shiverpeaks.

GANDARA Server:- SSDD, cannot find person to turn in catapult parts to. Map shows vendor but he is either invisible, floating in the clouds or wallowing in Hades.

Still no NPC on Fissure of Woe.

Its quite ridiculous that this NPC is still missing after 10 days./ Why cant arenanet fix these problems? Absolutely absurd… and its no wonder people are already leaving the game. And Im just about fed up with this BS. Skill point challenges still not working, and NPC missing 10+ days now at Guardian Pass. Does Anet even give a crud about this?

I know of nobody who has ever successfully played this event since release. I checked several times; when it was up, the event NPC was always missing.

This is still bugged on Ehmry Bay – no NPC found

Still bugged on Stormbluff Isle

Still broken on Henge of Denravi.

This post have been posted a month ago…and the same problem is still unsolved here…still bug till now..no npc to turn in the catapult part
