I just killed the Karka Queen and didn’t get this from the chest. I’m guessing probably that it’s to do with which Karka Queen spawn is used, and thus which of the four chests is opened.

In this case I fought the KQ at the spawn at Camp Karka and no dice on the Flawless Ancient Karka Husk.

i think its this case its RNG. base on the aqcuisition in gw2 wiki, i killed mine yesterday but didn’t drop anything as well.

Auto loot can prevent it from looting properly. Make sure you have auto loot turned off and try again. Guildie got it first try when he made sure auto loot was off.

crap shouldve checked the kitten forums first. just finished KQ but forgot to turn off autoloot

More likely the thing drops from the KQ herself, which means you need to get kill credit on her before that becomes impossible. Join a party before she appears to increase your chances.

I got it on my 3rd try, no parties or anything weird. It is just not a 100% drop rate.

Is anyone actually getting the Flawless Ancient Karka Husk from that chest?

I’ve ran it a few times over the last few days (both with auto looting on and off) and still haven’t gotten it. Nobody in the maps I’ve asked was either trying to get it or said they didn’t get it. I can’t progress any further until I get it.

I got mine and was definitely not the first to hit her. Tagging mobs has no effect in this game.

I’ve been trying for several days now with auto loot on/off but got nothing :/
