Hi,

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but since today’s patch (09 June) there’s a constant wooden clanging going on in the environment in Divinity’s Reach.

When you first step into the city, everything seems normal. But gradually it gets louder and more intense, almost like it’s a vast amount of small wooden clanging sounds stacking over time.

I’ve had to turn environment volume down whenever I’m in the city as it’s driving me insane! >.<

Sounds like a type of chinese Bamboo drums.
The sound starts with ONE “drum” and goes up with time, more and more.
And after a minute or two you have dozens of them… wired… o_O

Only when you stand free.
In a house or something, it ends.
When you leave it, it starts with one “drum” and so on… x_X

Noticed this in Lion’s Arch as well. I thought it was something other players were doing. I eventually moved away from the area and didn’t hear it again.

was just asking guildmates tonight, if i was imagining this whacky sound, but some of them heard it too, its definitely more prevalent in DR, and with the music off, its very noticable unless you also turn environmental off.

Aye they have addressed it as Inculpatus said – just a shame we have to wait until next major update! >.<
