I killed everything and got her to the last one and she just looks at me.

Has this happened with anyone else?

aurene only interacted with the first one for me.

I tried letting her die to reset did not work. I guess I have to redo the whole thing again

Yep, same thing happened to me. And with how absurdly long this ridiculous story step is, I honestly have no intention of doing it again until it’s fixed. Hopefully if I come back in a week the game will be fixed.

Seems to be stuck in the 3rd one for me, I let her die then interacted with her and her model spazzed out and was clearly stuck inside the object.

Stuck for me too, can’t move even after I die and retry from a checkpoint.

Aurene is stuck in the first one for me. No generators hurt at all.
(Aurene keeps needing comforting, but no progress is made)

Wow, that was a solid 20 minutes of pointless ooze killing I did not want.

well, i started the whole thing over it again. I was almost stuck on the second one but I ran out a bit and aurene started to attack again.

Same. Aurene no move, clear all too.

A temporary workaround that might help:

try running to the start of the instance until it lets you and back, or die a few times and each time when you get back (retry from checkpoint) try to position yourself differently near the generators. For me it worked after a while but can’t say for sure it will always.

For me the mission took about 5 mins for aurene to destroy the first egg generator. Then I turned around and over 50 oozes had spawn from the 2nd generator, we both died. When we respawn, the oozes had despawn and Aurene was destroying the generators normally.

Happened to me at the second generator. About to try again.

Aurene bug, the second generator never is destroyed.

confirmed, that nothing happens at second ooze generator.

Same here. (stuck at second ooze generator, and she made a weird movement, to then have the ‘stuck syndrome’ shaking.

Third Generator for me too, just stuck her head in to drink the kool aid.

Hey guys, i got through on the second try. Just exit out and go back. The teleporter starts you back at the ooze mission, so no long repeat. I also pushed to keep the way clear for Aurene REALLY hard the second time, and she ate right through all three generators. Good luck!

Seriously how hard could it have been to make any of the Exalted Sages inside that area have a communication box that makes Aurene teleport back to reset its bugged AI???
At least do that as a work around fix in the coming hours before you handle it properly.

edit: I apologize for sounding hard, but I lost an hour trying to get past this, had to redo the instance 4 times, it kept bugging at various generators.

Same problem. She froze up on the very last one. I tried letting her “die,” letting myself die and retry, running far far away – nothing worked. The sadness: it has me

She got stuck on the 3rd generator for me. Really hope devs fix this real quick.

Had the same problem. I just restarted the game and redid that ooze section. All was well and didn’t take very long.

Same here, been killing oozes for about 20 mins now, nothings happening.

My problem was with the first one..

Ok i just downed while typing that post, the exhalted dude rez’d me and now aurene killed the ooze generator! <3

Happened to me too at last ooze generator, just log out to character select and enter again through portal, you won’t loose any progress and you will start where you left, Anet made some changes. It’s a temporary solution, but it works. Aurene seems to become stuck between walls and idle.

Aurene getting stuck happened to me numerous times yesterday.

She’s better after the patch today
