Guild Wars 2

This is an uncommon but annoying bug.

Sometimes – rarely – hitting O to open the trading post causes it to stall at loading. Eventually, I get impatient and hit O to close the BLTC window, then hit O a third time to start it up again and click on the trading post. At this point the client freezes (people around me stop moving), and shortly after that the game crashes. I’ve forgotten the exact wording of the error message but it’s something to do with opening a browser (I understand that the trading post interface is an in-game browser). The client process continues to run in the background, which means I cannot open GW2 again until I force quit it.

I’m on the Mac Beta client; I’m running OS X 10.9.4. I have no add-ons.

Check the mac beta thread, I’ve been vocal about it, I know that message, timed out creating browser view (Why they thought a tp system that NEEDS a browser is just… every game I’ve played with a static tp has never failed me let alone crash on me!)

Anyway you are lucky my crash rate for the new tp is at least 99% now, not forgetting I remapped my bltp key to u as my o key is broken…

I’ve tried a few things, deleting the bin folder where the new tp’s files are stored sometimes helps, other times makes the game very unstable and very crash prone or not even able to start up. What I did today was set Coherent.exe to open with GW2 and it seems to have done something as I have hardly crashed since.
