About 20% of the time (Whether it’s entering the instance or rallying from death) I get stuck on the SPvP zone’s loading screen indefinitely and am forced to alt+f4 or access the task manager, denying me the end-of-match benefits I am entitled to.

It is already borderline trash that someone with a gaming machine as good as mine has to deal with a loadscreen in the same zone I’m currently in. However, the problem stated in the above paragraph is highly unacceptable and I expect it to be fixed in the next update.

Ever since the patch today I am getting stuck in loading screens in spvp after dying. This has never happened before to me, so it has to be related.

I was at Borderlands map, doing some shopping with NPC merchants there. When I finished, the game began to reload the map I was already in. This never stopped and I had to close the program.

Over the last couple of days everytime I try to enter the jumping puzzle the loading screen becomes stuck/does not ever finishing loading. Waited for 10 minutes or more with no progress.

I’ve had this happen to me in spvp on several occasions too. For instance, yesterday in LoF I had died and released to the waypoint but when I got to the waypoint I was hit with a stupid loading screen that wouldn’t go away, had to kill the game and re-open it. A few other times its done this for like minutes till the game ends and its only resolved when you join the next game in the sequence.

Happening to me aswell

1 in 3 times when I die I get stuck at the loading screen. I have to shut down my client and restart it. My team gets first place every time. Even with me leaving we still almost win the 3rd match. This has only started happening after the patch tonight.

I can confirm.

I had it happen to me 5+ times today, as well as to some of my teammates. We are forced to relog to fix this.

This is GAME BREAKING during tournaments, please fix ASAP.

….they just all hit the bug AT THE SAME TIME lol

yes, im getting this aswel. Then when it finaly get booted or change maps, all the voice overs and notifications catch up at once

This has been happening b4 this patch for me, even a couple times today, but agreed since the patch its much more frequent now, and very annoying.

In PVP there is a problem with getting stuck on the loading screen (with the concept art). This happens after re-spawn or autobalance. Sometimes.

You have to force crash your game and log back in or wait till someone wins.

Yes, this is gamebreaking. They ought to revert the servers to the previous patch until its fixed.

I die, respawn click, loading screen STUCK. Have to alt-f4.

yes same here several friends having same issue but server isnt crashing our client is cuz friends on vent keep playing.

its bout 1 outa every 7 or so deaths you click respawn an up pops loading screen that acts as if its eternally loading

also game crashes a lot since update in spvp

after 5 min i get msg: u gor disconnetved die to inactivity

In WvW same thing happens now.

They added some separation between main spawn camp and the rest of the map. Two issues:

1. Sometimes the rest of the map “loads” instantly after exiting camp. Sometimes there’s concept art loading screen that frozes the game.

2. Players are rotated 180 degrees after exiting camp and have to turn around to continue walking. As in, it’s impossible to “R” (autorun) to the battlefield. If this is to fight bots, I’d rather have bots than this because it’s annoying for everyone.

Secound time today, that i died and i got loading screen up till the end of the map.

Same issue here in SPVP, I’ve seen this happen in the past but not as often as I’ve seen it the past hour. I’ve had to alt-f4 least 4 times now.

yep this is happening to everyone. If u see a completely out numbered team, you know it is because they are stuck at loading screen.

This bug is rediculously annoying. I don’t know why it is not yet fixed. It seems simple enough, since it happens to so many people.

patch indeed broke something, no word from Anet though, so I assume they still don;t know about it. Or are working on it but don;t wanna tell anyone that they are.

Makes me angry actually, since I would be having such a good time and then BAM, that bs happens.

Yep, mondays patch caused this.

Ah well, all we can do is bump up posts and hope they get merged/someone notices it, not sure if they’ll hotfix it or wait for the weekly patch.

It’s not too bad in random pvp but if this is happening in tournaments and premades then it sucks, a lot.

has happened to me 30ish times

If i die, and repawn, I’m suck at the loading screen forever. I have to alt-tab and kill the game. Tried rebooting, same thing. Different toon, same thing. Only happening after the patch.

Let me start by saying that I am running the Mac Beta Client, so am unaware if this is a universal or client specific issue. As to the what, sometimes when I’m playing PvP and am defeated the game will get stuck on a loading screen while moving to the waypoint; when I say stuck, I mean permanently. The only way for me to fix this issue is to quit out of the game entirely and restart it. As you can imagine, this issue is most annoying and needs resolving. Is anyone else experiencing something similar?

I can confirm that this has happened to me twice today and only after the recent patch.

Same here has happened to me twice today as well, I can still hear the fighting going on around where I died but the screen never goes away and I never load back in. The only thing left to do is to alt tab out and force close the game.

I just tried to enter WvW, and couldn’t, no response whatsoever, no queue notice, nothing. May be related. Also got stuck earlier when trying to enter the jumping puzzle in EB. Currently our server is loosing so there is no queue in EB, if that helps.

Topic says it. Get killed in tourney, try to respawn, stuck in loadingscreen. Doom!

I’ve also had this issue, but it happens mostly when I volunteer for a teamswap. When the swap comes, I get stuck on a loading screen.

yep keeps happening about every 30 minutes

Appears to have a high chance of happening on my first death to respawn load screen in an sPvP match. Pretty much unplayable.

yep every 30 minutes I get stuck with endless loading screen and I reset guild wars every time.

same issue here, this is so bad for tourneys, i see the playerbase disappearing faster and faster every patch….. I like this game a lot but this game is becoming border line UNPLAYABLE.
